• What it was
Actually, I am not a sporty person, so I rarely watch live sports matches I think the last match I watched was a basketball match which was organized by my school.
Every year we have a basketball tournament 籃球聯(lián)賽 after the mid-term exam. It is kind of a tradition and it is very popular among students. You have to be quick if you want to snap up a ticket 搶票.
• When you watched it
It was on the last Friday of the term. As I was asked to photograph 拍攝 the event, I followed the whole game from the morning till the late afternoon which was about 10 hours.
• What it was like
Even though I am not into basketball, It was a very exciting tournament. The stadium was packed out with students screaming and cheering on the players.
The games were fast and everyone was on the edge of their seats 非常興奮. Each team played so well and the scores were neck and neck 不分上下. In the end, the 6th-grade team won and walked away with 輕松贏得 the 10,000 yuan prize money.
• And explain how you felt about it
Well, I definitely enjoyed it far more than I was expecting. The atmosphere was amazing and it was so nice to see everyone let their hair down after the exams.
As I was photographing the event, I also got to see everything up close which made it more interesting. The photos came out really well and were published in the school newspaper.
